Frameless Probe Guides

Guided Surgical Bionics (GSB) provides robotically customized probe guides to treat Parkinson's Disease. 

The treatment is Deep-Brain-Stimulation (DBS), and GSB provides frameless, break-through technology via two options:  

Advantages of the Microtable over a frame: 

• It reduces the number of the patient's DBS surgeries from 2 to 1.

• It reduces the number of orientation settings from 5 to zero.

• It reduces the average error from 1.20 mm to 0.75 mm.

• It is not worn outside of the surgical suite.

• It is not bolted to the operating table.

• It is not visible to the patient.
